Well I unfortunatley have 5 cash advances that I can no longer deal with. I got into these because I am taking care of my mom because she is very sick and I had to pay some of her medical bills before they would allow her to come in for an appointment. I didn’t know what to do at the time so I took out cash advances and now I can’t get ahead at all. I thought I could pay them back but now I have about $610 coming out just for cash advances every paycheck….I am really down and out. I don’t have family or friends that can help me…I can’t get a loan…the only thing I can think of doing is selling my tv, furniture, computer, etc. I wanted to try and wait until tax return time but I can’t make ends meet until then…not with how much is being taken out for these cash advances. Do you have any suggestions. My friend told me that I should close out my bank account so they can’t automatically take the fees out and call them immediately and explain my situation (not that they’ll care) but this way I can start paying them back what I can while being able to pay for rent, etc. ANother friend suggested claiming bankruptcy but I don’t have the money for that and will my car that I bought in 2005 be taken away that I only have 4 more months to pay on? Please offer any suggestions…again going to family for help is not an option…it’s just me and my mom.
